YSL Rive Gauche black velvet and purple taffeta skirt ensemble from 1981. The velvet top has short puff sleeves, a square neckline and is fitted through the body down to the hips. The purple taffeta skirt has a black velvet yoke at the top which gives structure to the flowing skirt. Finished with ruffles along the hemline and a self tying taffeta belt. In excellent condition with no signs of wear. Timeless and elegant as well as a desirable piece of YSL history. Size 36 French fits like a US 2-4.
